Pazli is an app that helps home cooks share a weekly menu and take orders from customers they know. This page explains what the app collects, why, who can see it, and how you can delete it. Questions: support@pazli.app.
The short version
- We collect only what the app needs to work: your account, your kitchen or orders, and what you choose to add.
- Kitchens aren't public. Your details are seen only by the cook or customers you share a kitchen with.
- No ads, no tracking, no selling or renting of your data.
- You can delete your account and its data at any time in the app.
What we collect
| Information | Why | Who can see it |
|---|---|---|
| Your name | So your cook or customers know who you are | People in the kitchens you belong to |
| Email address and password | Signing in, the code that confirms your email, password reset | Only you. Passwords are stored in a scrambled (hashed) form we can't read. |
| Phone number (optional) | So your cook can reach you about an order | Your cook |
| Delivery address and note (optional) | So your cook can deliver | Your cook |
| Photos of dishes, kitchens and profiles | Menus and profiles | People in that kitchen |
| Menus, orders, order notes, catering requests and replies | Running each week's orders | The cook and the customer in that order |
| Ratings (stars, and "would order again" for a dish) | Helping cooks and customers know each other | People in that kitchen, shown as an average |
| Reports you send about a kitchen or customer | Safety. We review reports within 24 hours. | Only us |
| A notification token for your phone | Sending the notifications you turn on | Our notification providers, to deliver them |
Your language and appearance choices stay on your phone.
What we don't collect
Your location, contacts, payment or bank details, health information, browsing history, or advertising IDs. Payment is arranged directly with the cook, outside the app. We don't use analytics or advertising tools that follow you across apps or websites, so the app never asks to track you.
Companies that help run Pazli
These services process data only to provide their part of the app, under their own privacy and security commitments:
- Supabase: the database, sign-in and photo storage.
- Resend: sends the emails with your sign-up and password reset codes.
- Expo, Apple and Google: deliver notifications to your phone.
We don't sell or share your personal information for advertising. We may disclose information if the law requires it, or to protect someone's safety.
How long we keep it, and deleting it
We keep your information while you have an account. To delete it, open Settings → Delete account in the app. A cook with a week that still has orders first cancels that week, so customers are told. Deleting removes your account, profile, kitchen, menus, photos, orders and ratings. Reports stay for safety review, without your account linked to them. Deleted data can remain in encrypted backups for a short time until they are replaced.
You can also email support@pazli.app to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to delete it.
Security
Everything travels over encrypted connections, and the database itself enforces who may see each kitchen, menu and order. No system is perfectly secure, so please use a password you don't use anywhere else.
Children
Pazli isn't meant for children under 13, and we don't knowingly collect information from them. If you think a child has created an account, write to us and we'll delete it.
Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or move your information, or to object to how it's used. Most of this you can do in the app; for anything else, email us and we'll answer within 30 days. California residents: we don't sell or share personal information.
Changes
If we change this policy, we'll update the date above, and tell you in the app before an important change takes effect.
